Our Story
Diasfund was born from a simple observation: diaspora communities around the world have a beautiful tradition of coming together to support families during bereavement. However, managing these efforts manually - through spreadsheets, phone calls, and cash collections - was inefficient, stressful, and often lacked transparency.
Our founders, themselves members of diaspora communities, experienced firsthand the challenges of coordinating contributions across multiple states and countries, tracking who had paid, ensuring fair distribution, and maintaining clear records for everyone involved.
We built Diasfund to solve these problems. Our platform automates the administrative burden, provides complete financial transparency, and allows community leaders to focus on what truly matters - providing emotional and practical support to grieving families.
